Charming, dry, juicy.
The original member of the Kamloops Wine Trail, Harper's Trail has been doing delicious things with estate Riesling and Pinot Noir (among others) grown on the southern banks of the Thompson River for more than a decade. Today the wines are under guidance of Pascal Madevon and previously Michael Bartier. A blend of Pinot Gris and Cab Franc with a pale onionskin shade and aromas of dried flowers, apple skin, sweet red berries and honey. A dry and tangy pink, it has a slick texture, a delicate fruity character with a long mouthwatering finish. Pair::charcuterie, fresh grilled salmon, creamy cheeses or pizza.
